Hot Water Work We Take On
Everything we take on sits on the hot water side of plumbing:
- Hot water repairs for elements, thermostats, valves and leaking cylinders
- No hot water visits when the taps run cold without warning
- Hot water replacement when a tank is past fixing
- Hot water installation for new builds, renovations and relocations
- Gas hot water covering storage and instant gas units
- Electric hot water including tanks on off-peak tariffs
- Instant hot water for compact gas and electric units
- Heat pump hot water that pulls warmth from the outside air
- Solar hot water with roof panels and a booster for cloudy spells
How A Hot Water Job Runs
You ring or fill in the form, we look over the system and price the whole job in full before we start, and nothing begins until you approve the figure.
Access is part of the plan
Tanks tucked into the tight side passages between the cottages here are familiar work, so we ask about access when you book and bring the right gear first time.
Before we go
We run hot water at the taps, check every valve and explain how the unit works, and you settle up by card then.

Frequently Asked Questions
Call (07) 3523 1736Who comes out to a hot water job in Paddington?
Plumbers licensed for both plumbing and gasfitting do the work here, so electric, gas, heat pump and solar systems all sit with one crew rather than two.
Do you work across Red Hill and the other nearby suburbs?
Yes, we cover Red Hill, Petrie Terrace, Milton, Auchenflower and Bardon along with Paddington, and the same crew that works your street handles those suburbs on their regular run.
What if a tank starts leaking between two Paddington cottages?
Call straight away and we will come the same day where the schedule allows, because a cylinder letting go in a narrow side passage can spread water over the fence line too.
Does Urban Utilities play a part in a hot water swap?
The water main and meter are Urban Utilities' side of the fence, and everything from the stop valve to the tank is ours, so a swap rarely needs anything from them.
Does Energex need to be involved before a new system goes in?
Possibly, since off-peak tanks and heat pumps depend on the Energex supply, and if your switchboard or tariff needs changes we point that out before quoting rather than after the work.
How do I book a hot water job in Paddington?
Ring (07) 3523 1736 or send the form with the unit's type and the fault you have noticed, and we will book a visit and put a fixed quote in writing.
